Harleysville is part of the Souderton Area School District which includes an area of 49 square miles in Upper Montgomery County. It is the largest school district in the county. The district is situated midway between the cities of Allentown and Philadelphia. Due to its locale this city has the best of both worlds: proximity to the city, while in a semi-rural setting. With countless special events, ways to get involved in the arts and learn about local history; as well as dining at independent restaurants and staying active at area parks, Harleysville is a wonderful place to call home.
